Summary:
The Foundation Grant Writer is a full-time position reporting to the Grants Manager.
The Foundation Grant Writer will be responsible for expansion of our grants program into foundation funding.
The Grant Writer will research, identify, write and ensure applications are submitted on time.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities include:
Write high-quality grant proposal narratives, applications, and supporting documents Responsible for researching, collecting data, and writing of each grant Work with grant manager to compile financials and data Manage the proposal submission process to ensure timely submission of all required materials Develops and maintains a proposal calendar Coordinate and follow-ups on the progress of submitted proposals Develops an annual grants strategy for foundation revenue Conduct prospect research to identify, cultivate and solicit new grants Perform other duties as assigned Required skills/Abilities:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in research and grant writing; nonprofit experience a plus Bachelor's Degree and/or Certified Grant Writer certificate required Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize work and resources.
Demonstrated ability to write successful grant proposals Detail-oriented, organized, deadline-driven Clear, precise and compelling writing skills Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with purpose and accuracy in a fast-paced environment High proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Preferred:

years of experience with Raiser's Edge or similar CRM platforms Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field required.
Minimum of three years of experience in grant writing experience required.
Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or social services grant writing preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
This is a remote position.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
